There are three steps you must follow:
Complete your registration education requirements
To become a registered real estate salesperson in Ontario, you must complete registration education courses administered on behalf of RECO by the Ontario Real Estate Association Real Estate College
You must complete these courses within 18 months:
- Real Estate as a Professional Career
- Land, Structures and Real Estate Trading
- The Real Estate Transaction - General and Residential
- The Real Estate Transaction - Commercial
- Real Property Law
Once you have successfully completed the courses, you have 12 months to apply to RECO for registration as a salesperson. Once your registration has been approved, you must complete your articling
education requirements within the first two years.
